Nakhoda Mosque, located in the Chitpur area of the Burrabazar business district, is one of Kolkata’s busiest mosques and dates back nearly a century. The prayer hall has a seating capacity of 10,000 people, and the domes and minarets were built in the Fatehpur Sikri architectural style.
