Overview of Rabindra Sarobar in Kolkata
The former Dhakuria Lake is a man-made reservoir in South Kolkata. It is home to a variety of migratory birds from Siberia and Russia and spans 75 acres. Many fish live in the lake. This location, surrounded by gardens, a children’s park, and an auditorium, has been developed over the years to promote community and welfare. It is a popular recreational area for picturesque picnics.
